Approach

My approach to therapy centers on a collaborative partnership: you are the expert on your own life and I bring expertise in science-backed therapy strategies. I specialize in anxiety and autism and I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I begin by learning about your history, strengths, challenges, and goals to ensure that the advice I offer is informed and personalized to you. I aim to build a trusting relationship because I know that sharing vulnerable information takes courage. Oftentimes, clients come to me when they are having a particularly difficult time, and I hold the hope for them until they are able to do this for themselves. Together, we will identify measurable therapy goals. Our sessions will be active and goal-orientated. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and neurodiversity-informed strategies to help you build skills that will help you achieve your goals. My therapeutic style blends empathy with directness, guiding you with both warmth and intention. I prioritize helping you gain insight and achieve real, lasting change.
